What is being claimed

The public cards are deliberately narrow. They describe research/evaluation releases for legal-domain expert pruning, not autonomous legal advice systems. The two main candidates are benchmark-backed, lawyer-supervised legal REAP candidates. The GGUF pages exist so local model runners and owned-hardware research lanes can evaluate the releases without depending on a hosted API.

What is not being claimed

The cards do not claim unsupervised legal reliability. They do not publish client material, private prompts, internal host details, local paths, credentials, raw failure runbooks, or deployment-specific endpoints. Legal use still requires attorney supervision and independent source verification.

Why this matters

Hugging Face gives legal teams a standard place to inspect release cards, tags, license boundaries, and model-purpose statements. GitHub remains the source record for PLI Labs documentation and model cards; Hugging Face is the public model-distribution surface.
